Made in the Chinese Year of the Dragon, but a bit of an asiatic cultural mish-mosh. I made sure to make this the traditional Chinese dragon (the key point is in the number of toes!) along with a Chinese-style bowl, but the soupy storm is very much a Japanese ramen.
Originals - Limited Edition of 250.
Reproductions - open edition.
____
Image size of the original print is 8x10 and printed on 11×14 paper.
Image size of the reproduction print is a little less than 6x8 and printed on 8x10 paper - a standard frame size.
Please note that original prints will have variations in ink application and how dark/light the image is may vary from print to print. This is due to the handmade nature of the printmaking process.
Reproduction prints will not have variations in ink application from what you see in the photo listing - I have specifically chosen to scan originals that have overall excellent ink saturation but still have some minor chatter or other “imperfections” in order to make ensure some of the indications of the made-by-hand process remain. All reproductions are open edition.
Both original and reproductions are printed on non-acidic, archival papers.
